Our first meeting
At our first meeting, we'll talk over what you want to achieve and about how we can help. Financial planning is not a 'one size fits all' matter. We listen to your plans and priorities and make sure we understand before making recommendations.
As a gesture of good will we don't charge you for this meeting; its purpose is to discover how we can work together to achieve your goals.
Where appropriate, we'll agree the next steps and obtain a written instruction from you to start work.
The next step is for us to research the best way of achieving your goals. Then we'll talk about our findings and the best options for you. It's then your decision whether you instruct us to implement our recommendations.
Making it happen
Dealing with insurance companies and other financial institutions can be hard work; we'll take care of this for you and do our utmost to make sure things go according to plan.
This is the most important part of the process. Like most things in life, your circumstances, financial and otherwise, are constantly changing. In other words, what is right for you today may need to be adjusted tomorrow, so we recommend a review at least once a year.
Our aim is to work with clients over the long term, helping them fulfil their plans by managing their finances well.
A summary of our internal complaints handling procedures for the reasonable and prompt handling of complaints is available on request. If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
